Tyga Faces Arrest Warrant

A judge issued an arrest warrant for the rapper Tyga after he recently failed to appear at a court deposition on August 9th.

According to reports, the courts prepared for Tyga to face against his former landlord in a $480,000 judgement against Tyga. The landlord states that Tyga had fallen behind on his rent when securing his Malibu home. As of the court deposition, Tyga has still not paid of the debt, stated by a Los Angeles public information officer.

Moreover, the landlord’s attorneys state that the case also emerged from the recent reports of Tyga’s purchases in line with his debt. Following Tyga’s much pronounced purchase of a $200,000 Maybach for girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s 19th birthday, the legal team felt justified in what he referred to as “a fraudulent transfer of assets that should go to satisfy the judgment.”

Because of his failure to appear for the deposition, the judge at the hearing issued what is referred to as a bench warrant. With this in mind, Tyga could very well face jail time should the case continue.

The landlord reportedly evicted Tyga from his Malibu home back in February. However, this apparently did not stop Tyga from purchasing a 12,800 square-foot Bel Air mansion. The rent at that location costs approximately $46,500 per month.
