Manziel States He’ll Play

In a brief comment to TMZ Sports, former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel states he’ll play next year on a team and his career’s not over yet.

When questioned by the TMZ reporter on whether or not he’ll return to football next year, the football player responded “of course, my man” before moving into his vehicle after being spotted at The Nice Guy in WeHo with model Abigail Ratchford. He also gave a quick shoutout to his mother and people back at home.

“To my mom back at home in Tyler, TX … we love you, all of you.”

Johnny Manziel was recently cut from the Cleveland Browns due to some inconsistent behavior both on and off the field. He was reportedly late for many practices or showed up times intoxicated. The team has many times considered dropping him from the team.

In addition to his player behavior, Manziel has also had some run-ins with the police regarding some charges for violent altercations with his girlfriend earlier this year as well as his work in rehab. However, his family has remained supportive of the quarterback in this time of media scrutiny.
